On 17 July PSP were delighted to invite guests to a VIP event at Broadlands Estate, the home of Lord Mountbatten, for a summer concert featuring Westlife.
Following our previous summer event where we had glorious weather, this year we battled against the cold, wind and dampness of a typical English summers day!
This annual PSP event is offered to us through National Box Office for whom we provide ticketing software - we await with anticipation to see what next year's offering will be!
PSP Group takes an interest in B-Paid
13 July 2011
Following a successful consultation period into taking card payments for the direct selling sector, PSP Group has agreed to take an interest in B-Paid - see www.B-
Paid.com.
PSP led the consultation within the direct selling sector. At the time the cost of taking credit card payments was prohibitive, with people having to fund large up-front payments, then paying monthly fees and signing up to typically a 12-18 month contract. In many cases they also needed to provide a trading history to obtain an internet merchant number from their bank, incurring further monthly fees. This would be a non-starter for many Distributors, particularly those new to the sector.
The B-Paid proposition offers a card payment service with no set-up fees, no extended annual contracts (just a rolling month agreement), no cancellation fees with a small payment of £4.95 (plus transaction charges when taking payments).
PSP commented:
"We felt B-P
aid was the right solution for our sector, especially those new to the sector giving them an entry level option to take card payments.
Users of B-Paid are also finding real benefits. One Distributor, amongst many said "With B-Paid I have increased orders for my clothing retail business. I believe more and more people now want to pay by card - in fact I'm sure quite a few customers would not purchase anything without the facility to take cards. B-Paid allows me to easily take card payments - and in turn also allows my customers to spread payments when using a credit card - a win-win situation for my business and my customers."
